June is the month where we see more and more people flocking to North Myrtle Beach for summer vacation since the weather is perfect, school is out, and everyone is ready to relax under the sun. If you’re planning on coming to North Myrtle Beach this June, check out this list of 10 things to do as inspiration for planning your trip:
Since the weather is so great during June, it is always ideal to spend as much time outdoors as possible. But what if you want to go shopping, too? Barefoot Landing is an outdoor mall that is home to several specialty shops, restaurants, and attractions such as Alligator Adventure. Get your fill of the South Carolina sun and shopping at Barefoot Landing.

Beach
Most people booking their vacation in North Myrtle Beach probably plan on spending most of their stay at the beach, and we really can’t blame them! During the month of June, the average air temperature is around 88º, and the average water temperature falls somewhere around 78º. Sounds perfect, huh?

Carolina Country Music Fest

Little River Waterfront

Shark Wake Park
One of the newest attractions to the area is Shark Wake Park, and this June is the perfect time to visit this North Myrtle Beach wakeboarding park. This family-friendly attraction is open 7 days a week during the summer from 10 a.m. until dusk. In addition to the wakeboarding park, Shark Wake Park also boasts an inflatable Aqua Park which is great for all ages and can hold up to 120 people per hour!

Stay Cool
While we all enjoy the beautiful summer weather here in North Myrtle Beach, it is important to stay cool. Stay hydrated by drinking lots of water, and keep cool by swimming, stopping for an ice cream or Italian water ice, and take breaks from the sun in many air-conditioned attractions!
