Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

While visiting North Myrtle Beach in March, guests can definitely get into the Irish spirit at the annual North Myrtle beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade! The annual parade will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2019 on Main Street. The event will begin at 9 a.m. and will feature a parade, live music, children’s activities, food, and much more. 

Play in the Water

If you don’t mind putting on a wetsuit, why not have fun on the water while you’re in town? Go stand-up paddleboarding in Cherry Grove, try parasailing, catch a wave, and much more. 

Party on Main Street

Run a Marathon

If you’re a runner, then you must sign up for the Myrtle Beach Marathon while you’re visiting! The Myrtle Beach Marathon and Half Marathon will be held on Saturday, March2, 2019 at 6:30 a.m. Visit the event website for more details about more races and other information.

Go Fishing

When near water, why not go fishing? There are many places to go fishing in North Myrtle Beach, including the Cherry Grove Pier. In fact, the Cherry Grove Pier holds the world record for a 1780 lb. Tiger Shark and a record 98 lb. Tarpon! Cherry Grove Pier is home to a full service bait and tackle shop so you don’t have to worry if you left anything at home. Visitors to the North Myrtle Beach area may also book a fishing charter with several local companies. 

Go to a Car Show

Car lovers unite each March in Myrtle Beach for the Run to the Sun Car Show. The weekend-long event is slated for March21-23, 2019 in Myrtle Beach. And, as one of the largest car shows in the Southeast, this popular event will raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. 

Go Ape!

Test your bravery at Go Ape! Zip Line & Treetop Adventure  in North Myrtle Beach! This is a great outdoor attraction for families, couples, and groups of friends. Go Ape! features five different ropes courses, all connected by exciting zip lines. This is an attraction that you don’t want to miss!

Try Wakeboarding

The North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex is now home to Shark Wake Park, which is a family-friendly cable wakeboarding attraction. This cool new attraction, owned by Greg Norman Jr., allows guests to experience the thrill of wakeboarding without the need of a boat. No experience is required to have fun at Shark Wake Park!
