Many vacationers who come to North Myrtle Beach each year may tell you that May is the best time to visit, and it’s understandable why. May welcomes gorgeous weather, warmer water, and the beginning of peak season in the area, meaning that more attractions are open and there are more things to do!

If you’re thinking about coming to North Myrtle Beach this May, check out these 10 things to do while you’re in town:

Barefoot Landing is great any time of the year, but the weather in May is perfect for outdoor shopping and dining! Stop in all of your favorite stores, as well as unique specialty stores that Barefoot Landing has to offer. Then, decide where you want to eat and enjoy a meal right on the water. Kids will enjoy playing outside at Barefoot Amusements and riding the carousel ‘round and ‘round. Whether you stop here every day on your vacation, or whether you visit once, make sure that Barefoot Landing is on your agenda while you’re in North Myrtle Beach.

This one’s a no-brainer! While you’re in North Myrtle Beach during the month of May, you must take a day (or your whole vacation) and spend it at the beach. Bask in the sun, dig your toes into the sand, and wash away your worries in the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
