After 19 years of serving the Myrtle Beach area, Planet Hollywood closed in September 2015. The company decided not to renew its lease and stated that they are pursuing other opportunities in different locations.

There has been quite a few rumors circulating that a Dave &amp; Buster&#39;s may be opening at Broadway at the Beach. If this happens, it is said that the new location will open where Hard Rock Cafe now stands.

Broadway at the Beach has been a favorite attraction in the Myrtle Beach area for more than 20 years, featuring shops, restaurants, and special attractions like a movie theater, mini-golf course, and more. While it is always a must to visit Broadway at the Beach during a vacation to the Grand Strand, and while visitors love eating, shopping, and playing at the complex, it is inevitable that some changes will take place in order to keep the attraction fresh and interesting for returning visitors.
