The holiday season is here and there are plenty of ways to celebrate in North Myrtle Beach! From meals with Santa to holiday shows and more, check out this list of Christmas events in North Myrtle Beach this year:
Christmas Tree Lighting
Head over to McLean Park on Tuesday, December 4 at 6 p.m. for the lighting of the City Christmas Tree! Santa and his friends will be there, and guests can enjoy activities & entertainment to get in the holiday spirit.
North Myrtle Beach Community Band Christmas Concert
Enjoy a free Christmas concert from the North Myrtle Beach Community Band on Sunday, December 9 at 3:30 p.m. The concert will take place at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center in North Myrtle Beach and will feature a variety of holiday songs.
Pet Photos with Santa
Gather your furry friends and make your way to the Dirty Dawg Large Dog Park at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex on Saturday, December 8 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. for pet photos with Santa! This event is free and open to the public. Be sure to bring your camera!
Santa Night at California Dreaming
California Dreaming in North Myrtle Beach is hosting Santa Night on Thursday, December 13 from 6-8 p.m. Guests will get to take free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus as well as enjoy a delicious meal.
The Carolina Christmas Special - The Christmas Show of the South
The Carolina Opry Theater is back with their award-winning holiday show The Carolina Opry Christmas Special – The Christmas Show of the South. This family-friendly show features singing, dancing, comedy, and tons of holiday spirit. You can catch this production from now until the end of December.
The Great Christmas Light Show
The Great Christmas Light Show is back for 2018! Head over to the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex from now until the end of December and enjoy a 1.5 mile drive-through light display as well as Santa's Village, where families will enjoy photos with Santa and other fun Christmas activities.
The Grinch's Candy Cane Hunt
The North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex Wyndham Baseball Complex is hosting the Grinch's Candy Cane Hunt on Thursday, December 13 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Guests will search the venue for green candy canes and then cozy up with hot chocolate to watch “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” at the Sandhills Bank Amphitheatre. This will be included in the Great Christmas Light Show admission charge of $15 per vehicle of 15 guests, $30 for vehicles of 16-30 guests, and $60 for vehicles with 31+ guests.
The South's Grandest Christmas Show
Join the Alabama Theatre for their award-winning holiday show, The South's Grandest Christmas Show! This production will run until the end of December and features a variety of singing, dancing, comedy, holiday decorations, beautiful costumes, and more.
