Avista Resort has tons of fun planned for their guests this Easter weekend including a coloring contest, Easter egg hunt, Easter party and brunch.
Easter events at Avista include:
April 14 | Strike a pose at the Easter family photo station in the Avista Resort lobby
April 15 | Join the flashlight Easter egg hunt for kids ages 10 and up on the beach outside the resort.
April 16 | Avista will host Easter egg hunts for kids ages 1-5, 6-9, and 10 and up. Families can take pictures with the Easter bunny starting at 11 a.m. Join a scavenger hunt around the pool in the evening, and top off the night with an Easter movie in the Avista Ballroom.
April 17 | Kids get chances to win fun prizes. Turn in coloring sheets for the coloring contest or guess the number of jelly beans in the jar. Meet up to color rock eggs in the afternoon.

April 15 | The resort-wide coloring contest begins. Pick up coloring page and crayons at the front desk. Turn in your creation to be displayed in the lobby for a chance to win prizes! Guess the number of candies in the jar at the front desk for a chance to win the jar!
April 16 | Join the Easter Scavenger Hunt at 3 p.m. in the hotel lobby. Bring a basket to collect your items. Enjoy snacks and an Easter movie at Movie Night.
April 17 | The Easter bunny will select the winners of the coloring contest.
April 17 | Easter Brunch at Prince Resort | 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. | $18.95 – Adults; $10.95 – Kids 4-10; Free – Kids 3 and under. | Buffet items include an omelette station, honey glazed ham, broccoli and cheese casserole, scrambled eggs, Belgian waffle and toppings bar, French toast, fried catfish and more!
McLean Park Easter Egg Hunt
The Easter Bunny will visit McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach for an egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16. Egg hunts will be divided by age groups, and the Easter bunny will be on-site for pictures. The event is free to attend.

The House of Blues at Barefoot Landing will be hosting Gospel Brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 17. The all-you-can-eat Southern brunch will include breakfast classics and Southern specialties. The pricing is $37 for adults and $18.50 for children ages 4-10. Reservations are recommended. Brandon Robinson & the New Generation of Praise will be on stage for the brunch.
Sunrise Beach Church Services
Trinity United Methodist Church will host a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday on the beach at 17th Avenue South in North Myrtle Beach.
