There are plenty of places to find delicious food in North Myrtle Beach, that’s for sure. But if you’re looking for something unique to try on your North Myrtle Beach vacation, you’re in luck. From spins traditional Southern fare to creative sandwiches and more, here are some North Myrtle Beach restaurants that offer unique menu items:
Brisket
Brisket’s motto is “If you can eat it, you can smoke it,” and the meat-centric menu here proves that saying right. Sure, you can dive into a plate of brisket or pulled pork while you’re here, but if you want to try something you’ve never seen on a menu before, consider the Fried Collard. This sandwich features fried collards, fried green tomatoes, and bacon, all wrapped up on a delicious hushpuppy bun.
Fire & Smoke Gastropub
If you don’t mind driving slightly south of North Myrtle Beach to the northern part of Myrtle Beach, then check out Fire & Smoke Gastropub. This restaurant offers a ton of mouthwatering dishes, but a unique one on their menu is the Smoked Bison & Wild Boar Meatloaf. This unique meatloaf is made with ground bison, wild boar, blackberry chipotle glaze, chive mashed potatoes, smoked porter, caramelized Vidalia onion gravy, baby carrots, and tobacco onions.
Hoskins Restaurant
Hoskins is a Main Street diner that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is usually almost always a line out the door here, but don’t let that discourage you from stopping at this popular eatery. Hoskins serves up a variety of delectable fare, including their unique Hoskins Beachcomber Burger. The Beachcomber Burger is an 8oz-charbroiled hamburger, topped with homemade pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes, on top of a pretzel bun. This fun burger is served with your choice of potato.
House of Blues Restaurant & Bar
The menu at the House of Blues Restaurant & Bar is jam-packed with flavor from all over the country. Enjoy delicious dishes in a unique and eclectic atmosphere, sometimes even with live music! Sure, you can get spinach dips and other popular dips at other North Myrtle Beach restaurants, but the House of Blues is home to the Mediterranean Vegetable – White Cheddar Dip. This unconventional dip features warm white cheddar topped with squash, tomato, sautéed zucchini, fresh herbs, and garlic, served with toasted pita chips.
SeaBlue Wine Bar & Restaurant
503 Hwy 17 N., North Myrtle Beach, SC - Directions
North Myrtle Beach’s SeaBlue Restaurant & Wine Bar is an eatery that is known for upscale dining, including a selection of elevated steak and seafood dishes. While SeaBlue is home to many dishes worth noting, the Rabbit Sausage & Fresh Tagliatelle is something you won’t find anywhere else in town. The dish includes black truffle béchamel, parmigiano-reggiano, and micro parsley. Be sure to visit SeaBlue for this dish soon, though, as they tend to change their menu seasonally.
The Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro
The Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro is known for upscale dining in the North Myrtle Beach area. While we’re sure you’ll love any of the menu items at this revered eatery, there are definitely a couple of dishes that stick out. While you’re at The Brentwood, consider trying the Pan-Seard Duck Foie Gras (carmelized apple, aged balsamic glaze, pain perduce, and fleur de sel) and the Escargot Bourguignon (escargot, chardonnay, fine cognac, chopped parsley, and garlic butter).
The Parson's Table
The Parson’s Table is an upscale restaurant that lives inside of an old historic Southern church. If the cool atmosphere isn’t appealing enough to make you want to dine here, the food sure will. The menu lists a variety of options ranging from fresh seafood to juicy steaks. An interesting menu item here is the Spinach and Wild Mushroom Curry. Vegetarians and meat-lovers alike will enjoy this dish, which is made up of fresh spinach, celery, wild mushrooms, tomato, onion, mango, green apple, apricot, coconut, and toasted almonds, all of which are simmered in yellow curry coconut milk. Having wine with your meal? The chef suggests Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc to pair with your dish.
