St. Patrick’s Day in North Myrtle Beach

Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day is always a blast for those who are full-blooded Irish as well as those who feel the Irish spirit at heart. North Myrtle Beach is known for hosting some of the best St. Paddy’s celebrations including an awesome parade, live music, and many other family-friendly activities.

Feeling the luck of the Irish this year and want to get in on the best St. Patrick’s Day events around? Here’s what’s going on for St. Patrick’s Day this year in and around North Myrtle Beach:

North Myrtle Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade

Each year, folks from all over flock to North Myrtle Beach for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade! The 31st annual parade will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2019 on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. The parade will start at 9 a.m., and much more fun will follow. Guests will have a blast with live music, rides, children's activities, and much more from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Nearly 30,000 people will attend the event to enjoy offerings from over 150 vendors, delicious food, crafts, information, and tons of other great things to get you in the St. Paddy's spirit.

Luck of the MarshWalk

The annual Luck of the MarshWalk event will take place on Sunday, March 17th along the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk. Those who attend this event are encouraged to come dressed in their best St. Paddy's gear and collect coins from each MarshWalk eatery and bar. Secret Leprechauns will also be handing out coins that may be good for an awesome prize! Hint: Those with the best costumes will get more coins. 

This event will take place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and prizes will be given out at 10 p.m. 

Flynn's Irish Tavern

Head over to Main Street after the St. Patrick's Day Parade and enjoy a fantastic meal and a cold one at Flynn's Irish Tavern. This cozy restaurant offers a warm and friendly atmosphere along with Irish beer and eats.

Finn McCool's is located just south of North Myrtle Beach, and this Irish bar hosts an annual St. Patrick's Day celebration that is definitely worth attending.  Join the friendly staff for a party featuring entertainment, games, great food, and cold beer.
