October is here, and that means the Halloween spirit is in the air! All month long, you can celebrate Halloween and the fall season by going to many themed events along the Grand Strand. From family-friendly fun to parties for adults, check out these fun things to do for Halloween around North Myrtle Beach:

Kids Drive In Movie Night

Thompson Farm will be hosting special drive-in movie nights for kids! Bring their favorite ride on toy/car and a chair or blanket for yourself.

Myrtle Beach Truck or Treat

The Sun News, in partnership with Broadway at the Beach, will be hosting the Myrtle Beach Truck or Treat on Saturday, October 14. Kids will get to trick or treat and see cool trucks, as well as participate in a costume contest. This free event will host a horn-free hour from 10-11 a.m.

Candy in the Corn Trick or Treat Trail

Every Saturday in October, Thompson Farm will be hosting the Candy in the Corn Trick or Treat Trail! Round up the kiddos and head out to Thompson Farm so that they can wind through a fun kids maze in their favorite costumes and collect treats! There will also be character appearances each week.

Grand Strand Witches' Night

Head on over to the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk for the 2017 Grand Strand Witches' Night on October 14. Gather up your friends and your best witch costume and prepare for a night of fun! Proceeds from raffle ticket donations will go to the Childrens' Recovery Center of Myrtle Beach.

Learn history and get in the Halloween spirit by attending a tour of the Conway Ghost Walks on October 19-21. Guests will enjoy an hour long tour of downtown Conway while hearing ghost lore of the area.

From October 19-31, visitors to the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach can enjoy the scary attraction, Dr. Scream's Scream Park! For one price, guests will get to experience Dr. Scream's Fright Manor, Chuckles Twisted Circus, and Zombie Apocalypse.

On October 26, Fun Warehouse will be hosting Trunk or Treat! Round up your kids and their friends and head over to Fun Warehouse for an evening of Halloween fun. Kids will get candy from various vendors, and there will be live entertainment, character appearances, and more. This event is free!

The House of Blues will be hosting Brews, Grooves, & Boos Halloween Bash on October 27. Festivities will begin at 4 p.m. and will last “until you drop on the deck.” The event will feature live music, a costume contest, craft beer sampling, and more.

Celebrate Halloween by trick or treating with your kids at Broadway at the Beach! This event will be held on Halloween night from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Participating shops will be handing out candy, and there will be fireworks at 8 p.m.

Halloween on the MarshWalk

Make your way to the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk on Halloween night for their annual Halloween celebration. There will be costume contests for kids and adults, trick-or-treating, and tons of Halloween fun.

The Market Common will be hosting Halloween festivities on October 31 from 5-7 p.m. Participating stores will be handing out candy, and there will be Halloween entertainment outside of the movie theater, and complimentary carriage rides.
