Things to Do for Halloween Around North Myrtle Beach

October is here, and that means the Halloween spirit is in the air! All month long, you can celebrate Halloween and the fall season by going to many themed events along the Grand Strand. From family-friendly fun to parties for adults, check out these fun things to do for Halloween around North Myrtle Beach:
Kids Drive In Movie Night
Thompson Farm will be hosting special drive-in movie nights for kids! Bring their favorite ride on toy/car and a chair or blanket for yourself.

October 27 – Casper
Myrtle Beach Truck or Treat
The Sun News, in partnership with Broadway at the Beach, will be hosting the Myrtle Beach Truck or Treat on Saturday, October 14. Kids will get to trick or treat and see cool trucks, as well as participate in a costume contest. This free event will host a horn-free hour from 10-11 a.m.
Candy in the Corn Trick or Treat Trail
Every Saturday in October, Thompson Farm will be hosting the Candy in the Corn Trick or Treat Trail! Round up the kiddos and head out to Thompson Farm so that they can wind through a fun kids maze in their favorite costumes and collect treats! There will also be character appearances each week.
Grand Strand Witches' Night
Head on over to the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk for the 2017 Grand Strand Witches' Night on October 14. Gather up your friends and your best witch costume and prepare for a night of fun! Proceeds from raffle ticket donations will go to the Childrens' Recovery Center of Myrtle Beach.
Conway Ghost Walks: Spirits of the Lowcountry
Learn history and get in the Halloween spirit by attending a tour of the Conway Ghost Walks on October 19-21. Guests will enjoy an hour long tour of downtown Conway while hearing ghost lore of the area.
Dr. Screams
From October 19-31, visitors to the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach can enjoy the scary attraction, Dr. Scream's Scream Park! For one price, guests will get to experience Dr. Scream's Fright Manor, Chuckles Twisted Circus, and Zombie Apocalypse.
Trunk or Treat at Fun Warehouse
On October 26, Fun Warehouse will be hosting Trunk or Treat! Round up your kids and their friends and head over to Fun Warehouse for an evening of Halloween fun. Kids will get candy from various vendors, and there will be live entertainment, character appearances, and more. This event is free!
Brews, Grooves & Boos Halloween Bash
The House of Blues will be hosting Brews, Grooves, & Boos Halloween Bash on October 27. Festivities will begin at 4 p.m. and will last “until you drop on the deck.” The event will feature live music, a costume contest, craft beer sampling, and more.
Huntington's Haunted Halloween
Catch a haunted feeling at Huntington's Haunted Halloween on Friday, October 27. Visitors will enjoy two haunted houses, games, movies, and much more!
Spooktacular Bash at Thompson Farm
Join Thompson Farm for their 3rd annual Spooktacular Halloween Bash featuring costume parties, flashlight fun in a corn maze, family activities, a drive-in movie night, and much more!
Funny Fright Night at Uptown Theater
Audiences will love Funny Fright Night at Uptown Theater! Catch this funny show on October 27 & 28 and enjoy a hilarious improv comedy show with a Halloween twist. This show is for ages 13+.
Ripley's Boo-quarium Bash
Check out the Boo-quarium Bash at Ripley's Aquarium on October 28! Dress up in your favorite costume for this family-friendly event and enjoy a costume parade & contest, and other Halloween festivities.
BooFest! at Barefoot Landing
Take a trip to Barefoot Landing for BooFest! on October 28. There will be a costume contest for kids and pets, as well as live performances and other fun Halloween-related activities.
Howl-O-Scream
The City of North Myrtle Beach will be hosting Howl-O-Scream at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex on October 28. The family-friendly event will include hayrides, trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting, and more, plus scary and scare-free zones!
Conway Halloween Carnival
Head out to the Conway Recreation Center for the Conway Halloween Carnival on October 28. This family-friendly event will have games, food, a costume contest, and more.
Halloween Bash on the Avenue
Join Broadway at the Beach for their annual Halloween Bash and Costume party! The event will take place on The Avenue, and will begin at 6 p.m. featuring music, dancing, a costume contest, and tons of fun.
2001 Nightclub Spooktacular Halloween Bash
Get into the Halloween spirit at the 2001 Nightclub Spooktacular Halloween Bash on October 28. This fun evening will feature live music from the No Limit Band.
Spook-Quarium Sleepover
Enjoy the Spook-quarium sleepover at Ripley's Aquarium on October 28. This fun kid-friendly event will feature a scavenger hunt, haunted aquarium walk, crafts, and more. Of course, remember to wear your favorite costume!
Toto's Day on the Farm
Make plans with your pup to go to Thompson Farm on October 29 for Toto's Day on the Farm. This is the only day of the year that pets are allowed on the property. Bring your pet dressed in its funniest costume!
Halloween Trick or Treat at Broadway at the Beach
Celebrate Halloween by trick or treating with your kids at Broadway at the Beach! This event will be held on Halloween night from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Participating shops will be handing out candy, and there will be fireworks at 8 p.m.
Halloween on the MarshWalk
Make your way to the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk on Halloween night for their annual Halloween celebration. There will be costume contests for kids and adults, trick-or-treating, and tons of Halloween fun.

Round up the kiddos and head to Barefoot Landing from 5-7 p.m. on Halloween night for trick-or-treating fun.
Halloween at The Market Common
The Market Common will be hosting Halloween festivities on October 31 from 5-7 p.m. Participating stores will be handing out candy, and there will be Halloween entertainment outside of the movie theater, and complimentary carriage rides.
