Town of Surfside Beach Christmas Tree Lighting Festival

Residents and visitors are invited to the Town of Surfside Beach for the most joyful event of the season: The Christmas Tree Lighting Festival! The festival runs from 4 to 7 p.m. and includes vendors, entertainment, and children's activities. The Lakewood Elementary School Chorus and the Tams & 14K Gold Band will provide Christmas music. For those seeking even more holiday cheer, there's the opportunity to capture a family photo with the jolly man himself, Santa Claus, aboard his sleigh. Other festive activities include decorating gingerbread cookies and transforming faces into Christmas characters with face painting.

4:00 p.m. – Welcome by Mayor Krouse 4:15 p.m. – Lakewood Elementary School Chorus performs 4:45 p.m. – “The Tams” perform live music on stage 6:30 p.m. – Lighting of the Christmas Tree 6:40 p.m. – The “The Tams” performance continues until 7:00 p.m. *The rain date (if needed) is scheduled for Dec 6.
