About Original Painter’s Ice Cream
Turn back the clock. Not much has changed at Painter’s Ice Cream, which first opened in 1952. Families still visit every summer, where they still find a traditional ice cream parlor with counter service, outdoor tables and fabulous frozen treats.
Single and double scoops of their quality homemade ice cream keep visitors coming back again and again (including hometown celebrity Vanna White, a North Myrtle Beach native who regularly touts Painters). Kids of all ages wait for cones piled high with Pecan Praline and Heath Bar Crunch, just two of dozens of available flavors.
Original Painter’s also serves a variety of sundaes and shakes. Whether your favorite is Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Pistachio, Banana Pudding, Cookie Dough, or something else altogether, Painter’s drips with nostalgia creating happy patrons of all ages, who can’t help but beam with a sticky, sweet smile every time they visit.
After dinner, after the beach, or anytime, Painter’s has been satisfying customers for more than 60 years.
