The Fudgery Fudge

The Fudgery originated in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and has been making great fudge since 1980. A.C. Marshall opened the world’s first Fudgery and the industry has since blossomed. Marshall’s unique style and showmanship sang and rang brass bells to lure vacationers into the shop to taste his rich and wonderful sensations. The show continues to lure customers to this unique atmosphere with its copper kettles and marble slabs and a bit of off Broadway talent to boot. From its inception quality has been the key ingredient followed by pure vanilla and the purest chocolate to assure a taste like none other. No short cuts are taken as the process to produce the world’s finest fudge takes time and dedication but the end product is certainly worth it. With shops throughout the US, there are several to be found along the Grand Strand including Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach, and Myrtle Beach’s Tanger Outlets.

The shop also serves caramel apples, milk shakes and ice cream.
