About Alligator Adventure
Step out of the city and into the wild at Alligator Adventure! This family-friendly wildlife exhibit features some of the most beautiful and some of the scariest animals on the planet.
Located at the Barefoot Landing entertainment plaza, Alligator Adventure is a 15-acre park, housing various species of reptiles, birds, cats, and other exotic animals. Of course, the main attractions at Alligator Adventure are alligators, and there is a range of different types to check out while you are visiting.
While at Alligator Adventure, be sure to check out when the feeding schedules are for that day. If you’re lucky, you and the kids can watch alligators and crocodiles get fed in a natural environment.
Perhaps the best site to see, though, is Utan- King of the Crocs. At approximately 18 ft. in length, Utan is the largest reptile at Alligator Adventure. Weighing 2000 lbs, this hybrid saltwater and Siamese crocodile is considered the largest crocodile on exhibit in the United States! Another notable character to see at Alligator Adventure is Bob – a female alligator who was born without a tail.
Alligator Adventure, also known as the Reptile Capital of the World, will keep you and your family entertained throughout your visit. Peek into the Snake House, check out the various lizards, and also say “hello” to flamingos, spotted yyenas and more.
This fun attraction is a must-see while in North Myrtle Beach! Tickets range from $24.99 for children to $34.99 for adults and the park is open seven days a week.
