Go Ape Zip Line & Treetop Adventure

Take a break from the beach and go for an adventure in the trees! At Go Ape Zip Line & Treetop Adventure, family members ages 10 and up can have fun conquering ropes courses and gliding on zip lines high above the ground. This attraction has a lot of shade to protect visitors from the hot summer sun, as well as water stations, helpful guides, and interesting facts about primates posted at each station.

Each experience at Go Ape lasts about two-three hours, beginning with a 30-minute training course where visitors learn about safety as well as the techniques used to operate equipment. After, guests begin their journey and are left to go on their own path. However, while visitors are going through the course on their own accord, there are instructors that hang around to make sure everyone is okay.

Go Ape Zip Line & Treetop Adventure features five zip lines, rope ladders, obstacle bridges, swings, and more. Guests will certainly love the final zip line of the course, which is over 900 feet in length and is suspended over a lake.

This attraction is located at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex, so in case there is someone in a group that is not a fan of heights, there are plenty of activities to choose from. Or, guests can also just hang out and watch from below as their friends and families take on the ropes course.

Whether going solo, with family, on a date, or with coworkers, Go Ape is a great way to have an awesome time while doing something unique. However, there are some restrictions. Children who want to visit Go Ape must be at least 10 years of age and 4’7” in height. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and the maximum weight limit is 285 pounds.
